Of course, there are many other people who feel the same way, which is why it can sometimes be extremely difficult to get the right hotel room in Dubrovnik. There are so many options, where to start?

That’s where this list of the Dubrovnik top hotels comes in! I will show you exactly where you can stay to make the most of your vacation in Dubrovnik. Let’s go!

Have I got a wonderful place to stay during your time with the Dubrovnik top hotels! How would you like to rest your head in an adorable family-run establishment with excellent views of Dubrovnik, a pool, free drinks on the patio, and a delicious breakfast spread every morning?

Then the Villa Klaic is just the place for you! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Dubrovnik. I had such a fantastic time here that I am still longing to come back.

2) City Hotel Dubrovnik

The rather prosaically named City Hotel Dubrovnik is still an excellent and convenient choice for your time vacationing in Croatia’s prettiest city. It has an excellent location just a short walk from Bellevue Beach.

(Before researching hotels and things to do in Dubrovnik prior to my amazing trip there, I did not know that Dubrovnik was an amazing beach destination, as well as a super place for Game of Thrones tours, but it is!)

The hotel has all the features you will need for a fantastic summer in Dubrovnik, like air conditioning, free wifi, and a 24 hour front desk that can help you with all your travel and accommodation needs.

Also, the City Hotel Dubrovnik serves a free breakfast every morning to the guests! You can get a buffet or a continental breakfast, and they even serve an a la carte breakfast, which is a special treat.

The restaurant also has both private parking and an airport shuttle, though as you might expect, you have to pay for these. You will definitely need a car to get to the Dubrovnik airport, whether you or someone else is driving. I know this from experience! But fortunately this hotel will make everything convenient for you.

3) Hotel Lero

The Hotel Lero is also one of the Dubrovnik top hotels, which I’m sure you’ll agree when you head over and check it out. This hotel has a fantastic location, and you will be able to walk to Old Town and the Walls of Dubrovnik from here with no problem.

Like many hotels in Dubrovnik, the Hotel Lero offers a free breakfast in the morning. However, the hotel also has a couple of restaurants, one of which serves local (Dalmatian) cuisine, and the other of which serves Bosnian food, which I promise is very tasty. There is also a tea and coffee maker in every room, in case you need that caffeine boost even before you head out for breakfast.

The hotel also has an airport shuttle service and garage parking, which you have to pay a bit of a fee for. However, if you want to park your car outside the hotel, you can do it for free. (Do not worry about safety because I was told many times that there is no crime in Dubrovnik.)

Did you want to know about views? This is Dubrovnik, darling! Basically every hotel is going to have amazing views of the sea, and the Hotel Lero is no exception. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there is even a swimming pool at the hotel. If you want to feel pampered and cared for when you are enjoying a beautiful Dubrovnik vacation, this is an excellent option.

4) Boutique Hotel Stari Grad

Ok, so many of the Dubrovnik top hotels are within walking distance of the Old Town, aka the Stari Grad, but the Boutique Hotel Stari Grad is an exception. It is actually within Old Town itself. So if you really want to be in the Old Town or do a little less walking, this is the perfect place for you!

In fact, there are literally only two hotels inside Old Town’s walls, and this hotel is one of them! So getting to stay here is a truly spectacular treat! However, you do not need to worry that the hotel will be noisy and crowded just because it’s in the most popular tourist destination in Dubrovnik. It is on a quiet street, so no worries there.

Is breakfast included with the price of this hotel? Of course it is! And it is served on the rooftop terrace so that you will get the amazing kind of views you can only find in Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Truly, life does not get any better than this! You can also get dinner at the hotel restaurant, which is quite good.

In terms of other services, there is free wifi and a 24 hour front desk. You can also get parking and/or an airport shuttle if you pay an additional fee. (But why would you need both parking AND an airport shuttle?) Basically, this hotel has everything you could want from one of the Dubrovnik top hotels.

5) Hotel Excelsior

The Hotel Excelsior is one of the most delightful places to stay in this beautiful city. It is also definitely one of the best Dubrovnik top hotels. This hotel might not literally be within Dubrovnik’s walls, but it is only a five minute walk from Old Town, so it is a great place to stay for any tourist. It also has a ton of features. Are you interested in a spa? How about three different restaurants? Then this is the hotel for you!

The hotel has all of the features that you would expect and want in a wonderful hotel. Of course, there is free wifi, free parking, and a 24 hour front desk. They can help you arrange from an airport shuttle with a fleet of limousines! I personally have not been in a limousine since prom, but this sounds like an exciting experience.

There is also a spa at the hotel with a swimming pool, two hot tubs, and even a sauna. Basically you do not even need to leave the hotel to have a good time in Dubrovnik. (However, you should leave the hotel because Dubrovnik is an extremely pretty city, and there is a ton to do there.)

Do you like spectacular views? Then you will be amazed by the stunning views of the Adriatic Sea that you can find at this hotel. All the hotels I recommend in this article are well worth exploring, but this is definitely one of the most magical hotels in Dubrovnik.

6) Boutique Hotel Porto

You might be a teeny bit confused at the name of this hotel. Why is it called the Boutique Hotel Porto? It is not located in Portugal, after all. Well, I think it got this name because it is near Dubrovnik’s port. There is nothing that suggests Porto here except that, like Porto, the hotel is very charming.

The Boutique Hotel Porto is also within walking distance of Bellevue Beach and the Old Town, so basically the whole city of Dubrovnik will be your delicious oyster.

What sorts of features are you expecting here? Looking for free wifi? Can I interest you in private parking and an airport shuttle? How about tea and coffee makers in all the rooms? Well, this boutique hotel has all of this and more!

You can also get breakfast at the hotel, and you have a choice between buffet, continental, or even an a la carte breakfast. Isn’t that exciting? The rooms are more like small apartments in some ways because there are so many extra features like refrigerators and things. OK, there’s just one refrigerator in each room, but I think you know what I mean.

The hotel also has its own restaurant, but it is also within walking distance of many excellent restaurants. You will truly be spoiled for choice in this area in Dubrovnik. The staff is extremely kind and considerate, and if you need anything to make your stay better, all you will have to do is ask.

In fact, if you have an early flight and can’t stay to eat breakfast at the hotel, they will provide you with a boxed breakfast so you can take it with you. Now this is what I call service!

7) Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik

OK, you have been hearing me talk a lot about Bellevue Beach in these reviews, haven’t you? Well, why not check out Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik? At this hotel, every single room has great views of the water. That’s a pretty rare and special thing to find at any hotel!

On top of that, this hotel has all the special features that you might require. There are several restaurants, including a wine bar where you can get to know all the best Croatian wines. (And there are a lot of them. Be sure to try the Plavac Mali if they have any in.)

The hotel also has free wifi and free parking, which is definitely not a guarantee in Dubrovnik. That is one reason that I say this is one of the Dubrovnik top hotels. The hotel also has access to an airport shuttle, and they have a spa! Obviously there is an extra charge to use these services, but I think it’s definitely worth it.

If you love the idea of having access to a gorgeous beach and a super friendly and helpful staff, this will certainly be an excellent hotel for you! There will be a little bit of a walk to get into the Old Town, but it will be a gorgeous walk and it will help you work off all that fantastic Croatian wine, so what is there to complain about?

8) Grand Villa Argentina

If you have come to Dubrovnik to bask on the beach and relax in a swimming pool, then the Grand Villa Argentina is for you! Yes, this hotel has beach access and its own two swimming pools, which surely makes it one of the Dubrovnik top hotels. For some of you, that might be enough to convince you to stay here. But in case you need more information, I’ve got you covered.

The hotel also has free wifi, as well as un free private parking. There is also a delicious breakfast served every morning. In addition to the swimming pools, there is a sauna, a spa center, and a fitness center. So really, there is no excuse for staying at this hotel and not leaving looking your absolute best!

Even though the hotel is on the beach and not in Old Town, it’s just a short walk from Old Town, so you can easily get to all the main attractions and restaurants. Remember, Dubrovnik is very safe, even at night, so I felt totally comfortable dining in Old Town and then walking back to my room in safety and comfort.

How to Get There

Now, I wish I knew where you lived, Internet Stranger, because I could send you a bottle of Dubrovnik’s finest wine for you to have for your very own. Sadly, I do not, and so I can’t tell you exactly how to get from your home to your time with the Dubrovnik top hotels

But I can tell you that you can use an airplane to get to Dubrovnik, which is the most charming city in Croatia. However, I’ve never gotten a direct flight from my hometown New York City. You will need to find a layover in a city like Paris or Amsterdam to get to Dubrovnik from the United States.

It was easy and the flight is reasonably affordable.. It’s also just a short distance from Dubrovnik to any of the hotels that I recommend in this article. The taxi rides into the city center from the airport are very inexpensive. I recommend Expedia for the best way to find the cheapest flight to Dubrovnik and the rest of Croatia
