Greetings, Internet Stranger, and welcome to the best hotels Boise ID. Boise is the capital city of Idaho, and there’s a surprising amount of fun things to do here. Of course, you could be in Boise because you’re visiting a loved one or attending a business conference, instead of being on vacation. I don’t know your life.

But what I do know is that it can be hard to decide on the best hotels Boise ID because there are so many great options. That’s where I come in! I am going to introduce you to all the best hotels Boise ID, and then you can decide which ones suits you best! Let’s go!

1) Grove Hotel

My personal favorite hotel in Boise is the charming boutique Grove Hotel. It has a perfect location in Downtown Boise, within walking distance of almost all major attractions like the Capitol building. And I did say I was going to show you the best hotels Boise ID, didn’t I.

It has everything you would expect and hope for from a medium priced hotel, like a coffee maker in the room and fast free Wifi. Plus there’s that cute little G on the pillow, so you know it’s the grove.

I actually stayed in Boise on the 4th of July and it was basically impossible to find any place to eat. However, because the Grove is a hotel, their bar and restaurant were both open! They were basically the only people in Boise willing to feed me. I still remember their famous Idaho flatbread pizza fondly. Thanks, Grove Hotel for not letting me starve!

2) Modern Hotel

For a small-ish city, Boise has a surprising number of very cool hotels. I guess chic people come here to check out the craft beer scene, like I did. Anyway, the Modern Hotel has many things going for it.

It has a perfect location right in downtown Boise, just near the very impressive public art gallery known as Freak Alley. (Tons of fun, just trust me! No freaks really lurk there, I promise.)

It has the typical amenities that you would be expect from any high quality hotel, like a TV and free Wifi. However, it also has some more unusual features, like its own independent film festival that it streams to guest TVs and Japanese soaking tubs in some of the rooms. Don’t you want to go to there? I sure hope so!

3) Home 2 Suites by Hilton Boise Downtown

I’ve stayed at Home 2 Suites by Hilton hotels in several cities, and even though they’re a little larger than most solo travelers like myself need, I always enjoy their spacious surroundings and the generally excellent service. And the Home 2 Suites by Hilton Boise Downtown is no exception to this rule, so I definitely recommend it as one of the best hotels Boise ID.

This hotel is very convenient, whether you are traveling in Boise on business or pleasure. If you’re there on business, the place has free wifi and a business center. However, if you’re there more for pleasure, you can enjoy their indoor pool. Plus, I always appreciate a good 24 hour front desk when I travel solo, in case there is an emergency. You never know!

The location is also excellent, right near the famous Basque Cultural Center and Basque restaurants of Boise. If you enjoy sausages and wine/cola spritzers, you will love these restaurants! As you can tell from the name of the hotel, it’s right in Boise’s downtown.

4) Hyatt Place Boise Downtown

Have you had enough downtown Boise hotels yet? I hope not because we still have a whole bunch more coming. This next one is the Hyatt Place Boise Downtown. (There is another Hyatt Place in Boise, but I like the location of this one better.)

This Hyatt Place is just a short walk from the Idaho state capitol building, in case you’re anything like me and you’re trying to visit all of the state capitols in your lifetime. (So far, I have only been to ten capitol buildings, but Boise was one of them.)

The rooms here are clean and comfortable, and the hotel has some cool features, like a hot tub and a business center, and an American restaurant. (I’ve never eaten at their restaurant, but they say it serves American food. I mean, Boise is in America, so technically don’t all restaurants in Boise serve American food? It’s very possible that I’m missing something here.)

This hotel also has a hot tub, and I am here to tell you that if you’ve never gotten into a hotel hot tub in Boise, you have not really lived, my friend. Get on that as soon as you can.

5) Hilton Garden Inn Boise Downtown

Hilton Garden Inns are another chain that I have experienced all over the United States. Again, they are cozy and comfy and the staff is always very attentive, so what’s not to love? I’m sure that I don’t know. There are two Hilton Garden Inns in Boise, but the one that I recommend is the Hilton Garden Inn Boise Downtown because it has the best location.

Boise’s downtown is extremely walkable and basically all of the attractions in Boise are within walking distance of the downtown area. That’s what I suggest picking a hotel in the downtown area, unless you really need a hotel in the Boise Airport or something.

Anyway, back to the Hilton Garden Inn Boise Downtown. If you want decadent in room service, this is the hotel for you. It has its own bar and restaurant, as well as room service in case you are hungry and can’t be bothered to drag yourself down to the hotel restaurant. (No judgement if that is the case, I love a good hotel restaurant myself.) This is just one of the things that makes this one of the best hotels Boise ID.

This hotel is within walking distance of the big attractions like the state capitol and the Idaho history museum. It also has everything the business traveler to Boise could need, like a business center, a 24 hour front desk, and free wifi. On top of that, it has a buffet breakfast every single morning. Now, that’s what I call convenience!

6) Hampton Inn and Suites Boise Downtown

As you probably have figured out at this point, it seems like every major hotel chain has a branch located in downtown Boise. I am not one hundred percent sure why that is. Maybe they all want to be close to the center of power that is the capital of Idaho.

Anyway, there are Hampton Inn and Suites all over the country, I have stayed at many of them, so I was glad to discover that Boise has its very own Hampton Inn and Suites Boise Downtown. There are a couple of other Hampton Inns in Boise, but I feel that this one has the best location. I promise you that downtown Boise is where you, as a traveler to Boise, want to be!

The Hampton Inn and Suites Boise Downtown has a ton of great features. It is within walking distance of all the major downtown Boise attractions, like the zoo. When I went to Boise, I spent the entire time within walking distance of the downtown, and I don’t think I missed one single thing. That’s why this location makes this one of the best hotels Boise ID.

The Hampton Inn and Suites Boise Downtown also has a ton of excellent amenities and features. It has a swimming pool and a fitness center, in case you need to work off all of that delicious Basque food when you are in Boise. It also has great views of the mountains, a 24 hour front desk, and free wifi. Plus, there is free hot breakfast every morning, and it is pet friendly! What more could a traveler to Boise want?

7) Comfort Inn and Suites Boise Airport

OK, I am finally going to get you out of Boise’s downtown, at least for a moment. I recognize that some of you might be looking for a hotel right by the Boise Airport, so I’m going to suggest my favorite, which is the Comfort Inn and Suites Boise Airport. (There is also a Comfort Suites Boise Airport, but they don’t appear to have reviews that are quite as good.)

Obviously, the vast majority of people who are going to be looking to stay an airport hotel, including the Comfort Inn and Suites Boise Airport, are looking for a hotel that can get them to their morning flight on time. That’s why it’s so convenient that this hotel has a free airport shuttle service. Just make sure that you arrange the shuttle with them in advance, to make sure that you make your morning flight on time. That is one of the reasons that I say this is one of the best hotels Boise ID.

However, this hotel is more than just a hotel airport with a convenient hotel shuttle! It also has free bikes, in case you want to go for a ride in the city of trees, free parking, in case you have a car, a 24 hour front desk, and a spa and wellness center. Anything you’re looking for in Boise, I’m pretty sure that you can find it happily here!

8) Holiday Inn Express Boise Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Of course, we all know what a Holiday Inn is. A Holiday Inn is one of the most famous brands in the United States. And there are a couple of Holiday Inns in Boise, but as usual, I’m going to recommend the one that is downtown, which in this case is the Holiday Inn Express Boise Downtown. Just like the other Downtown Boise hotels I have suggested, this hotel is within walking distance of all of the major attractions in Idaho’s capital city.

Even though this hotel is downtown, it’s still not that far from the Boise Airport. After all, Boise is not that large a city. So it’s very convenient that this hotel offers a free shuttle to the Boise Airport. It also has an excellent breakfast buffet every morning, and I am not just talking about cereal. There’s also biscuits and gravy, omelets, the works! That’s why I say this is one of the best hotels Boise ID.

In terms of the hotel, you’ve got everything a visitor to Boise could need. There’s free wifi, a swimming pool, a 24 hour front desk, housekeeping service every day if you need it, a fitness center, and a business center. There’s even free parking, which is a great bonus. I mean, I do not know how to drive so I have never used free parking, but if you do drive, I am sure that this is an incredible convenience.

9) Springhill Suites Boise Park Center

I’m going to do something a little bit different with this hotel and actually not recommend one that is downtown or within a very close distance of the Boise Airport. That’s right, I am suggesting the Springhill Suites Boise Park Center.

This hotel is located only three miles away from downtown Boise, so it’s not like it would be inconvenient to get to there from this hotel. However, if you’d like to get away from the “hustle” and “bustle” of downtown Boise, this could be the perfect choice for you.

It has a lot of the same features that many of the other chain hotels in Boise have. There is free parking, a swimming pool, a 24 hour front desk, and free wifi. Plus, if you are traveling with cats or dogs or hedgehogs, it is completely pet friendly?

Does that makes this one of the best hotels Boise ID? Totally up to you. But I hope you’ll enjoy your stay here, as I am pretty sure it’s the best option outside of Downtown Boise.
